In an Associated Press article today entitled “Teen Pregnancy Linked to Watching Sexy TV Shows”, we are told: “Groundbreaking research suggests that pregnancy rates are much higher among teens who watch a lot of TV with sexual dialogue and behavior than among those who have tamer viewing tastes.”

For those of us who have long been concerned about the impact on kids of sexualized toys and tv shows, one has to wonder why such a common sense connection needed ‘groundbreaking’ research to prove it.
